Diane Barbara (Herzog) Pannella, of Kihei, Hawaii, ded September 18, 2011, at the age of 53.

Diane was born August 27, 1958, in Geneva, IL to Robert and Barbara (Comstock) Herzog.  She was the wife of Tait White of Kihei; mother of Katherine Pannella of New York, and Laura (Aaron) Pannella Winn of Boston; sister of Marylou (David) Gehringer of Glen Ellyn, David (Janet) Herzog of Glen Ellyn and the late WIlliam Herzog; and aunt to two nieces and a great-nephew.

Diane was a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a safety technician for Monsanto Company.  She was a voracious reader, intrepid traveler and lifelong learner.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 23 at Village Green Baptist Church, 200 S. Lambert Road, glen Ellyn, with Bob Reid, Minister of Grace Chicago Church, officiating.  Respects can be paid to the family from 4 - 5:30.

In lieu of flowers, doantions in her mmory can be made to Hospice of the North Short and Greater Boston or the American Cancer Society.
