Dear sister of Wesley, Tammy, Tracy, Jay, Ken, David, and the Late Tom. Fond sister-in-law of Jeannette Plonka. Visitation Friday, April 7th, from 3 to 8 pm at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard. Memorials to the P.K.D. Foundation (Polycystic Kidney Disease), 1001 East 101st Terrace, Suite 220, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 would be appreciated. Mrs. Plonka was a resident of Glen Ellyn 21 years and was formerly of Wheaton. She grew up in Glen Ellyn and was a 1976 graduate of Glenbard West High School. Mrs. Plonka received her Associates Degree from Culinary School in Oregon. She loved animals, gardening, crafting, baking, and family. Mrs. Plonka was an avid Cubs Fan and was thrilled they won the World Series on her Birthday. She was the proud and loving owner of her dogs, Thor, Gus + Ginger.
