Tom Nickerson passed away after a valiant fight with cancer. He travelled the world and had a life full of adventure. Tom resided in New York City for over 30 years. Many of us fondly remember our Freshman Float work in the Nickerson’s garage. RIP Tom.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Lived a half block away and spent a good portion of 7-9th grade at his house. We had reconnected and I had hoped to see him when I visited my daughter in Manhattan next month. Didn't know he was sick. Tom and all The Nickersons were a fun and adventurous family. Whether riding mini bikes, skating in their side yard, seeing The Godfather with them at the age of 13 or building a giant, multi colored, fire breathing "Magic Dragon", I will always have fond memories.
