We use to play a game in junior high called speed ball - I cant remember all the rules but somewhat of a cross between soccer and football - Doren loved playing that game - was good at it and quite the teammate.
I remember Doren, he was a nice person that cared about others. After school was over, we lived in the same apartment complex, Somerset Apartments. It’s in Glendale Hgts. He had this album that we listened too, that I had to go out and get. Now, whenever I see, or hear that album I think of, Doren. He also was like the first person to date a girl (Susan Elky)openly
He sure wasn’t shy, back in Jr. High. Thanks for showing me the ropes, Doren. You will be missed!

Doren was a good guy; we often walk back from school together.. I remember he had a distinctive, hearty laugh.
